In 1973, Bruce graduated from Menasha High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He graduated from Nuclear School and served on the USS Long Beach.
On May 21, 1983, he married Mary Heinz at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Menasha.
Bruce has been employed with Wisconsin Public Service at the Pulliam Plant for over twenty-five years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary;
two daughters: Amanda and Katelyn;
his mother, Jean Allen, Menasha, WI;
his father, James Allen, Fort Meyers, Florida;
two brothers and sister-in-law: Scott and Jayne Allen, Appleton, WI and Jamie Allen, Tucson, Arizona;
and nieces and nephews.
Bruce was preceded in death by a brother Richard Allen.
Bruce's family will receive family and friends at Blaney Funeral Home, Green Bay, between 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
