Allen, 3352 Allenville Rd., Oshkosh, Age 87, died at her home Thursday at 5 p.m. She was born October 22,1886 in the Town of Winchester and was married to Harry 0. Allen on March 29, 1909 in Neenah and they made their home on the farm in Allenville. Mr. Allen preceded her in death in 1972. She was the daughter of P. R. and Sara Furman who were pioneer residents of Winnebago County. She was an honorary member of the Women's Missionary Society of the Allenville Baptist Church. Surviving arefour sons, Orvis of Green Bay, Furman of Columbus, Ohio, and John and Peter of Allenville; two daughters, Mrs James R. (Kathleen) Douglas of Davis, California, and Mrs. Gordon (Barbara) Thiex of Mikesville; a brother, Earl Furman of Houston,Texas; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Mueller Funeral Home in Winneconne with the Rev. Richard Krell officiating. Cremation will be in Lakeview Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Mueller Funeral Home after 4 p.m. on Saturday.
