Mrs. Edward Allen, who had lived in Oshkosh all her life with the exception of the past two months, died at 8 o'clock Friday evening at the home of her niece, Mrs. J. II. O'Conner, 189 Merrill street, Fond du Lac. She had been an Invalid the past eight years. Mrs. Allen's former Oshkosh residence was at 429 South Park avenue.

She was active in social work in this city and was a member of several lodges and church organizations. She was a member of the ladles' auxiliary of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and was a charter member of the St John's ladies' society. Mrs. Allen was also a member of the Oshkosh Council of Catholic Women.

Mrs. John M. Conley, 17 Mount Vernon street is a niece of the deceased. There are no members of her immediate family living.

The funeral service will be held at 9:30 o'clock Monday morning from the St. John's church with Rev. W. 1. Mortell officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Alois Bastian and Rev. M. H. Clifford.
