Agnes Brady Allen, age 82, passed away at her home in Salt Lake City, March 27, 1997.

She was born August 21, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Hyrum Andrew and Harriet Ann Pierce Brady.

She was the 2nd of 14 children.

She married Fredrick E. Allen, July 22, 1950 in Holladay, Utah; the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Agnes was a member of the LDS Church and served in many positions.

She was a teacher in the MIA, a 1st and 2nd counselor in the Relief Society, and served for several years as the compassionate service worker.

She brought so much joy to all who knew her. "No" was not part of her vocabulary.

She is survived by a son, Raymond Petersen, West Valley City; daughter, Jackie Smith, Salt Lake City; four granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Afton Epp, Los Altos, CA: Della Poulton, Salt Lake City; Rayola Mascaro, Salt Lake City; Melvin Brady, Provo, Melba Graham, St. George; Calvin Brady, Salt Lake City; Carol Baldwin, Summit Park.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert E. Allen; brothers and sisters, Velma Tischner, L. Pierce Brady; Geraldine Brady; Ralph Brady; Harvey Brady; Glen Brady; and a great grandson, Austin Patrick Vigil.

Funeral services willk be held Monday, March 31, 1997 at 12 noon in the Rose Park 1st Ward, 760 No. 1200 W.

Friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 So. 200E. and Monday 11-11:45 a.m. at the ward.

Interment, Fort Douglas Cemetery.
