Albert Victor Allen was one of a set of triplets born June 22,1897, at Oso Twp., Frontenac County, Ontario, to John Allen & Catherine Rutledge, who are buried in Oconto Cemetery, Olden Twp., Frontenac County, Ontario. The other two in the set are Ernest & Clarence. All three of the triplets died from malassimilation (incomplete or imperfect assimilation of nutrients by the body, or in general terms, a failure to thrive). The triplets died as follows :
- Frederick Ernest, July 24,1897
- Albert Victor, July 29,1897
- Clarence Edward, Aug.19,1897

The other three children (Elizabeth, John & Charles) buried in this plot are also children of John Allen & Catherine Rutledge.

- Charles, Feb.6,1895 - Oct.24,1896
- John, July 26,1889 - Sept.26,1889

- James Rutledge 1846-1891 is their grandfather.
