Elizabeth "Eliza" (Allison) Allison was born on November 26, 1872 in Princeton, Caldwell County, Kentucky, and she was the daughter of Little Berry "L B" Allison (1847–1924) and his wife Sarah Jane (Poole) Allison (1849–1940).

She was married to the considerably older Little Berry Allison (1850–1917), who was her father's 1st cousin, the son of Samuel Allison (1818–1884) and Sarah Angeline (Washburn) Allison (1828–1871).

A resident of 1132 East Sharpe Avenue, Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, she was 69 years old and the widow of Little Berry Allison [yes, there were several Little Berry Allisons!] when she died of angina pectoris on January 16, 1942 at Nashville's Saint Thomas Hospital where she had been a patient for eight days. Burial was the next day in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville.

Much of the above is from her Death Certificate, with H S Allison of 1132 East Sharpe Avenue, Nashville as the informant.

Known children of Eliza and Little:
~ Myrtle Lucille Allison (1899– ) m Major Alexander Cortner
~ Hugh S Allison (1901–1972)
