Charles Johnson Allison, 79, of 3232 Pine Ridge Road, died Thursday. He was a member of Cathedral Church of the Advent. He was an employee of J.C. Bradford & Co. He was a former vice president of Equitable Securities and a past member of the board of governors of the National Association of Securities Dealers. He was a member of the Rollers and the Birmingham Rotary Club. He was a member of the board of the Country Club of Birmingham and the Mountain Brook Club. Mr. Allison was past president of the Redstone Club and a graduate of Washington & Lee University.

Graveside service was today at Elmwood, Johns-Ridout's Southside directing.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, and a sister..
The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
