COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Agnes Allison, 83, of Baxter, were held at 2 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 30, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial was in Allison Cemetery.
Mrs. Allison died on Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born on Dec. 23, 1914, to the late Thomas Washington and Georgianna Crawford Clouse. Mrs. Allison taught in the Putnam School system for many years. She attended Middle Tennessee University and TTU and received her teacher's certificate. Mrs. Allison was also a homemaker and a member of Nash Grove Baptist Church.
Her family includes her daughter, Janice Allison of Chattanooga; three sons, Jimmy Allison of Sparta and Freemon and Bob Allison, both of Baxter; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ammon Hershel Allison.
Bro. Joe Britt Jr. officiated at the services.
