Joyce Faye Alexander, a native of Knoxville, Tenn., and a resident of Jackson, died Monday at an area health care facility. She was 76.
Alexander, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, retired as a security guard for Pinkerton Security. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson.
Survivors include one son, Edward Alexander of Jackson; one daughter, Debra Hanks of Daphne; three brothers, Dave Allman Jr. of New York, Mike Allman of Knoxville, and Dewey Allman of Mobile; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral at the First Baptist Church of Jackson. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
Arrangements are by Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson.
