Mrs. Prudella Allman Alexander 79, affectionately known as "Aunt Nell," widow of William D Alexaner, died today at her home, 91 West Second South Street, after a three weeks' illness.

Mrs. Alexander was born December 12, 1865, in Provo, a daugher of Thomas and Elmira Phillips Allman. She was married to Mr. Alexander in the Salt Lake temple May 16, 1906, and he died four years ago in Provo. She was educated in the Provo city schools. For many years she served as a Relief society teacher and was a devout member of the L.D.S. church.

Surviving are two sons, Ralph H Alexander and Earl W Conant, Provo; the following step children, William D. Alexander, Jr., Porto Rico;
George L Alexander, Honolulu;
Mrs. May Secrist, Chicago;
Mrs. Cora Cluff, Santa Monica Cal;
one grand-child;
three brothers, Thomas M, Levi W. and Samuel Allman, Provo;
five sisters, Mrs. Mary A Simons, Payson; Mrs Clara Snyder, San Bernardino, Cal; Mrs. Jessie Brown, Mrs. Nora Conroy, Provo; Mrs. Dora Hansen, Salt Lake City.

Interment was in the Provo City Cemetery under the direction of the Berg Mortuary.

Cause of death was complications (some sort of obstruction) following influenza, with badly run-down condition, Prudella was too sick to attempt any operation. Seen very late.
