Richard L. Allman Richard L. Allman, age 75, of Monroe, died on May 13, 2013. He was born in New Castle, IN on April 5, 1938 to the late Nina Gladys Hall Allman and the late Bruce Antonio Allman. He was preceded in death by his sister, the late Betty Jean "BJ" Personette; sons, the late Richard Allman, Jr.; the late Ryan Allman; and grandson, the late PFC Daniel Joseph Allman II. Surviving are: wife, Sandy Allman of Monroe; daughters, Teresa Aaron of Monroe, Julie Mitchell of Monroe, Bonnie Rogers of Monroe; sons, Daniel Allman of Monroe, John Allman of Monroe, Bruce "Andy" Allman of Monroe; sister, Saundra Shoemaker of Seymour, IN; mother-in-law, Bonnie Linne; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. A Rosary Service was held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Meadows Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Annaâ??s Catholic Church, with Father Daniel Toof officiating. Interment followed at Hill Haven Memory Gardens.
