Rowe Allman, age 81, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014. He was born on February 1, 1933 in Chatsworth to the late Ed and Allie Allman. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Annie Jo Allman; son, Michael Allman; brother, William Allman.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Allman Dedmon of Chatsworth, Donna Allman Bronson of Chatsworth, Rita Allman Bohannon of Columbia, S.C.; brother, Claude Allman of Chatsworth; sister, Emmalee Newman of Lincoln Park, MI; grandchildren, TJ Bennett and his wife Heather, Derek Bennett and his wife Samantha, Matthew Bronson, Tyler Bronson, Colby Bohannon, Cameron Bohannon, Carson Bohannon; Great grandchildren, Landon Bennett, Kalyn Bennett, Sadie Bennett, and Axel Bennett.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Rowe Allman will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Billy Starks officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
