Albert Almand son of Harrison and Louise Allmand
Married Margaret O'Grady

American beacon and Virginia and North-Carolina gazette April 23, 1831

Died- Col. Albert Allmand to be buried this afternoon, from his residence on Duke Street.

Richmond Enquirer Tuesday April 26, 1831

At Norfolk, on the 21st instant Col Albert Allmand. On the morning of his death, being on his way to his office through Bothery's lane, he stepped into a barber's shop, where, as was his practice, he commenced to shave himself, but he had scarcely begun the operation when he exclaimed that he was going to faint-threw himself into a chair, and requested the man of the shop to go instantly for a physician. The man obeyed, and in a few minutes returned with a medial gentleman-but the messenger of death had sped his errand-the vital spark was extinct. The fatal cause could not be distinctly traced by any indication that was visible about the deceased, though no reasonable doubt could be entertained that it was the rupture of a blood vessel in immediate connection with the heart.
