GREENVILLE —Beatrice L. Almas, 82, of Dodge Street, Greenville, died Friday, Aug. 19,1994, at United Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Brown-Teman Funeral Home.

GREENVILLE — Beatrice L. Almas, 82, of Dodge
Street, Greenville, died Friday. Aug. 19,1994, al United
Memorial Hospital. She was bora Dec. 31, 1911, at
Entrican, the daughter of John and Hattie (Pickell) Miller.
She was a life-long resident of the Greenville area, a
former member of the Christian Science Church and for
several years had worked for her brother Charles Miller
in his restaurant at the corner of M-57 and M-91 in Greenville.
Following that she was employed at the westside
Laundromat, which was owned by her brother Edsal
Miller. She was also a member of the Greenville Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert J. Almas,
whom she married on March 6,1934, at Edmore. Also
surviving are a son and his wife, Roger and Vera Almas,
Greenville, two sisters, Waunita Burns and Genevieve
Zeigler, both of Greenville; a brother and his wife, Charles and Rosemary Miller, Fenwick; a sister-in-law, Hilda Miller, Greenville; four grandchildren, Larry and Barbara Almas. Greenville, Jay and Cheryl Almas, Cedar
Springs, Mark and Rhonda Almas, Cedar Springs, and
Tamm/Turner, Gowen; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Beulah Young;
and two brothers, Eldon Miller and Edsal Miller.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. . at the
Brown-Teman Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Harger
officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
