Amina (Ballestero) Alonso, age 89, of Canton, passed away Thursday morning after an extended illness. Born in Nerva, Province of Huelva, Spain, she had been living in Canton for the past 46 years. She was a member of the Spanish-American Women's Club. Preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Juana Ballestero, brother Sergio, sisters Elda and Berta.
