He married Maria Josefina Servide Alonso on September 2, 1966 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, attending the Grandview 20th Spanish speaking Ward.
He is survived by his daughter Viviana Marcela Alonso and his grandson Xavier Alberto Alonso. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Alberto was charming, charismatic, and a true gentleman with a fun-loving youthful personality. He had a very generous heart, always striving to help those around him. He loved rides in nature, and the company of friends.
He was deeply loved by everyone for his integrity, goodness and pure childlike heart. In his friend's words: "Big smiles, big hugs, big stories, lots of energy, lots of enthusiasm, lots of love, that is Alberto!"
He was happily married for 38 years when his beloved wife, Mary, joined our Heavenly Father. After seven years of longing for her, Alberto found his way back to the love of his life!
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 15 at 11 a.m. at the LDS church at 1120 North 850 West, Provo. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
