Jack worked in pants factories in Syracuse in the 1920s and in Buffalo NY in the 1930s. The family moved to the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles in 1936. Jack had clothing stores in Huntington Park and Alhambra. He later became a real estate broker and owned a number of rental properties. They eventually lived in the Cheviot Hills area in west Los Angeles.
Jack & Priva were members of the Zionist Organization of America, Poale Zion, and other groups supportive of Israel.
