Armatine attended Pass Christian High School and Eldorado High in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was a member of the basketball team. She was a graduate of the Youth Challenge Program at Camp Shelby, Hattiesburg, MS. She joined the Army National Guard and completed Basic Training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC. She received the Presidential Fitness Award. She graduated from AIT, Fort Lee, VA.
She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Audrey Waheed; her Great-Grandfather, Isiah Ambrose; Aunt, Elsie James; Great Aunt, Victoria Peters.
The funeral service will be Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at 11 a.m. at First Community Baptist Church, Gulfport, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Baptist Cemetery in Pass Christian. Lockett-Williams' Mortuary in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
