The precious Lord took the hand of Juliet Brazil Ames, 81, and gently led her home on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Parkdale Cemetery. She was born in Eastland to Charles Aaron Brazil and Lottie Irene Tankersley Brazil. She was raised in Arlington. Juliet wed her childhood sweetheart, John A. Ames, on Dec. 31, 1947, and they were blessed with three daughters, Jill, Jan and Joni. Juliet had a lifelong love for books and enjoyed reading to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Survivors: Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jill and Mitch Clark, Jan Wisdom and Joni Ames; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Deborah and Bill Walker; and two nieces and nephews.
