On July 5, 1920, Chanchalba Amin(affectively known as Ben to all) was born in India.She married the late Shri Shantilal Bhailalbhai Amin(respectfully known as Kaka) Vadodara, Gujarat. There they raised five children – two sons and three daughters.
Kakabeing Lawyer provided higher education to all the children.He sadly passed away at home in 2002 at Lumberton, NC. Ben was reverentially known for her infinite and
unconditional love that she held not just for her family, but to those around her as well. Her giving nature and service to others was truly inspiring. Ben exemplified simplicity. She radiated politeness and relentless service to community became the foundation for the work ethic of all her children. This was her joy all throughout her life.
Ben is survived by two sons, three daughters, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
