---Mr. Eli Ammons, of North Streator, has been suffering from a very severe attack of Erysipelas. For a time it was thought that he would get well, but he is again in a bad way and his recovery is a matter of grave doubt.

---Mr. Eli Ammons of North Streator, aged 67 succumbed to-day to an attack of Erysipelas. Mr. Ammons has lived in the vicinity of Streator since 1855 and has many warm friends who mourn his demise. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, and the remains interred in Barnhart cemetery.
