It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Anna Barbara Amor, on Friday, January 21, 2011, in Calgary, Alberta. Surrounded by her loving family, Anna passed away peacefully in her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Anna lived each day with an immense sense of grace, a passion for life and a fearless attitude which acted as an inspiration to all.

Anna leaves behind a loving and caring mother, Krystyna Diklich, an adoring and devoted husband, Claude Amor, and her beloved sons, Michael and his wife Patricia Mastalerz and Adam Mastalerz. Her legacy will live on through them. Anna will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Hanka Lewandowska and her niece, Kasia Lewandowska, in Poland, her cherished mother-in-law, Emilie Amor, and her sister-in-law Brigitte Amor, in Montreal, Quebec.

Anna will be remembered by so many family and friends who loved her dearly for her infinite positive attitude, witty sense of humour and "joie de vivre". She was loved and cherished by all and her memory will be carried on with great admiration and love. Anna's values of love, compassion and understanding will live on through all those who were fortunate to have known and loved her. For that we are grateful. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and caregivers who throughout the years have caringly assisted Anna through her journey.

The Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2011, at Chevra Kadisha, 17818 - 37 Street S.W., Calgary, Alberta T2Y 4Y2.

Obituary published in the Calgary Herald 1/22/2011 - 1/23/2011.
