Daisy E. Alleger (nee Anders) age 79, of Pennsville died Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Christiana Hospital. Born in Wilson County, NC, daughter of the late Clyde and Maime Harold Anders, she had been a resident of Salem County for over 50 years. Mrs. Alleger had been a member of the Walnut Street Bible Church in Salem; the Salem County Sportsmen's Club and had enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert N., Sr. in 1996. Surviving is her daughter, Norma Hinchman and her husband David of Hancocks Bridge, son, Robert N. Alleger, Jr. and his fiance Meryl of Pennsville, grandson, Sgt. Jeffrey Turner and his wife Judie of Hancocks Bridge, grandson, Robert J. Allerger of Pennsville, granddaughter, Dana Hinchman of Hancocks Bridge, step grandson, David Hinchman, Jr., great granddaughter, Caitlin Turner of Hancocks Bridge and her special friend and companion, Carl Lodge of Pedricktown. Funeral services will be heldin the ASHCRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 740 S. Broadway (at Chestnut Lane), Pennsville. Interment will be in the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove.
