Gertrude Marie Kohlmann, 89, formerly of 165 E. Rees St., died Saturday, July 20, 1996, at St. Francis Home. She was born on June 8, 1907, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Frank and Anna (Karls) Anders. November 24, 1927, she married Bernard H. Kohlmann St. Marys Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, its Altar Society and Daughters of Isabella. Survivors include two sons, Lawrence and his wife Bernice, Donald and his wife Patricia, both of Fond du Lac; one daughter, Mary Ann Volz and her husband Richard of Fond du Lac; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Anders of Fond du Lac Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband on July 20, 1988; and one grandson. A liturgy of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 AM Thursday at Zachrel Funeral Home, and at 10 AM at St. Marys Church. The Reverend Peter Drenzek will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home were a parish vigil will be at 6 PM. Memorials in her name may be directed to St. Marys Church or St. Francis Home.
