A.S. Anderson received a telegram Saturday morning from Biloxi, Mississippi announcing
the sad news of death of his Mother. Mrs Eliza Jane Anderson at the home of her daughter
Mrs. Hester Coulter. The cause of her death was not stated but owning to he advanced age
it is supposed that heart trouble and general debility was the cause. She was born 7 May
1829 at Old Feliciana, Graves County, Kentucky and was 85 years old. She had made her
home in Mayfield for many years and was the widow of the late Ervin Anderson.
She had been living with her daughter in Biloxi for the past few years.
She leaves six children as follows; Albert and Judge Anderson and Mrs A.D. Robertson
of Mayfield, Mrs R. T. Albitton of Seattle, Washington, Mrs. K. Jamison of Sherman, Texas
and Mrs. Hester Coulter of Biloxi. The Body will arrive in Mayfield at 10:45 A.M. Sunday
and will be taken immediately to the city cemetery, where the funeral services will be held.
