Unity – Edna B. Ferreira, 94, died Saturday, November 1, 1997, at a Waterville hospital following a long illness. She was born in Somerville, Mass., July 31, 1903, the daughter of Walter and Annie (Elliott) Anderson.
She graduated from Killingly High School in Danielson, Conn., in 1921 and was employed as a proofreader for the library in Cambridge, Mass., and W. T. Grant in Danielson, Conn.
In 1948 she moved to Unity with her husband and son. She was employed by Constable's Hatchery in Unity and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Carol Ferreira; her granddaughter and husband, Lori and Michael Jones; her grandson and wife, Timothy and Suzanne Ferreira and three great-grandchildren, Amy, Adam and Alissa Jones, all of Unity; her brother and his wife, Walter and Doris Anderson of Cape Coral, Florida.
