Alice Grace (Andrews) Anderson was born on December 2, 1891 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Harvey Robert Andrews (1853–1924) and Emma (Dodds) Andrews (1859–1942).

She was married in 1925 to John Hall Anderson (1879–1941).

A member of Eleventh Street Church of Christ and living at 1911 Fatherland Street, Alice was 63 years old and a widow when she had a heart attack and died on April 13, 1956 at Mid-State Baptist Hospital, Nashville.

Survivors - all in Nashville - included her daughter Mrs R A Dean Jr, stepson John M Anderson, sisters Mrs H L Redding Sr, Mrs Jess McMahon and Mrs Edith Overton and brother Melvin Andrews.

Funeral Services were held on April 14th at Eastland Funeral Home, and burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
