Betty Jane Andrews, 93, Neenah, died peacefully, Friday, March 18, 2016, at Valley VNA, Neenah. She was born December 27, 1922, in Green Bay, to Roy and Florence (McMahon) DuCharme. Betty married Edmund C. Andrews, August 14, 1943, and celebrated 65 years of marriage before Ed died. Family was Betty's greatest joy.
She is survived by her six children: Christine (Harry Spetnagel) Andrews, Aurora, CO; Carolyn (Maurice) Handler, Neenah; Russell (Barbara) Andrews, Plymouth, MN; Ruth (James) Heltemes, North Prairie; Laurie (Burton) Lindquist, Madison; and Amy Jo (Richard) Aylward, Neenah. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Ed, grandson Steven Andrews, her parents, and all 5 of her siblings.
In addition to her devotion to family, Betty enjoyed crocheting and sewing, playing bingo, canasta and cribbage, traveling with Ed to all 50 states and sightseeing other parts of the world. Her subtle sense of humor brought smiles to many faces.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Monday, March 28, 2016, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah.
