In Memoriam.

Mrs. T. J. Andrews was born Nov. 20, 1836. Before her marriage, which occurred Dec. 24th, 1859, she was Miss Addie C. Day. Surviving her are five children: Mrs. N. E. Brazell, Camp Hill, Ala.; Mr. W. E. Andrews, Birmingham, Ala.; Mr. J. T. Andrews, LaFayette, Ala.; Mrs. J. O. Hinkle, LaFayette, Ala., and Mr. E. B. Andrews, West Point, Ga. She also leaves one great grandchild and thirty grandchildren. She died March 7th, 1916, and was buried at Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Since 1873 Mrs. Hinkle (sic) had been a consistent member of the church, living a devout and consecrated Christian life. A devoted and affectionate wife and mother, a kind and generous neighbor, throughout her long life she gained the esteem of all who knew her. She has entered into that rest “that remains for the people of God,” leaving to her children and grandchildren the priceless heritage of a beautiful Christian life, the influence of which shall be to them a blessing and constant inspiration to follow in her footsteps along that way that shall at last bright them to a happy, eternal reunion with her in the better land. – W.C.B.
