Alice was born in 1850, in New York, daughter of parents born in Ireland. She died Oct. 22, 1908, aged about 58 years, and was buried in the Andrews Family plot in Vanceburg Cemetery. Her gravestone is inscribed “Alice I. Andrews 1852 - 1908.” On Aug. 18, 1867, Alice was united in marriage to England F. Andrews at the Presbyterian Church at Eau Claire, Wis. England was born November 10, 1840, in Covington, Somerset Shire, England, son of parents also born in that country. He died January 2, 1928, at Wheeler, Dunn County, Wisconsin, aged 87 years, 1 month and 22 days, and was buried besides the remains of his wife in the Vanceburg Cemetery in the same county. The Andrews Family plot contains an “Andrews” headstone and his gravestone is inscribed “England Andrews 1840 - 1929.” A G.A.R. flag holder is by his gravestone. Their known children were: Flora E., b. 28 Aug 1868; Walter Dwight, b. 7 May 1870; Eleanor (Ella)Marian, b. 8 Dec 1872; Richard William, b. 6 Jun 1876, died 1878; Hattie Louise, b. 28 Oct 1877, died 1890; Daniel Eugene, b. 17 Nov 1880; & Harry Ruben, b. 6 Jun 1883, died 1884.
