She was pronounced dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital in Menomonie after collapsing at Riverside Park.
She was born February 8, 1950, in Colfax to Ned and Tinka Hendrikson Andrews. She was raised in Wheeler and attended school there and in Boyceville.
She worked at UW-Stout before her marriage to Dale Amundson, August 2, 1969, in Wheeler.
The couple moved to Menomonie in 1973.
Services were held on Monday, May 1 at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with the Reverand Robert Bipes officiating. Burial was in Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Dale; four sons: Trevor, Chad, Cory, and Jeremy; her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Ned Andrews; a sister: Mrs. Roger (Luana) Nygaard; and five brothers: Stanley, Wendell, Allan, James, and Wayne.
