Agnes Carroll Andrus, 89, of 16 Soloway Drive died Wednesday at Lee Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
A native of Watertown, Mrs. Andrus resided most of her life in Fulton. She retired several years ago after many years as a telephone operator with telephone companies in Watertown and Fulton.
Mrs. Andrus was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception and a member of Pere LeMoyne Court, Catholic Daughters of America.
Surviving are two daughters, Arla Tracz of McLean, Va., and Donna Chalone of Fulton; two sons, Thomas and Gary Carroll, both of Fulton; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Young & Son Funeral Home, 322 Oneida St.
