Born March 21, 1924 in Amsterdam, he was the son of Wadislaw and Jadwiga Celmer Andrzejewski, and was a lifelong city resident.
He was a 1942 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam.
During World War II he served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Chini-Burma-India Theater, where he was a crew chief on a military transport.
Mr. Andrzejewski was employed for more than 20 years by W.D. Redding Inc., where he was both a driver and bottler. He later was employed as a school bus driver with the Greater Amsterdam School District, and a security guard with Coleco Industries. He retired in 1990.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Andrzejewski Graham, on March 1, 1996.
He married the former Margaret Brennan on June 13, 1945.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, Thomas Andrzejewski of Amsterdam, Wayne Andrzejewski of Broadalbin, and Patrick Andrzejewski of Perth; two daughters, Eileen Andrzejewski of Amsterdam, and Vitalia McEckron of North Granville; a sister, Sadie Cetnar of Scotia; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Interment will be in Maple Avenue Cemetery, Fultonville.
