ALEXANDER, Linda Angel also lovingly known as Granny, age 94 of Waynesville, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at her home. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on February 1, 1920 to Eli and Clara Angel. She was married to James Lester Alexander for 52 years whom preceded her in death in 1994.
Also, preceding her in death was her oldest son, Kenneth Lester in 2009, and a great grandson in 2000. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Sue Alexander of Springboro, Ohio, sons; Burlon (Sharon) Alexander of Miamisburg, Ohio, Douglas (Kay) Alexander of Cullman, Alabama, Tim (Melissa) Alexander of Sabina, Ohio and daughter, Linda Gail (Steve) Vulgamore of Powell, Ohio. She had 13 brothers and sisters. All of who have preceded her in death, except for twin sisters Annie Parrett of Cincinnati, Ohio and Fannie Pendergraft of McKee, Kentucky. She is survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was a member of the Waynesville Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
Funeral services at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, OH with Reverend Bill Perry officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery
