Mrs. Caroline Anderegg
Mrs. Caroline Amelia Angel Anderegg, 87, widow of Fred W. Anderegg, died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday at her home 216 5th Dr. NW, New Philadelphia. She had been ill two months.
A daughter of the late Hiram and Caroline Hahn Angel, she was born Feb. 5, 1869, at Angel's Valley, near Stone Creek. She was a member of First E. and R. Church of New Philadelphia, where she moved 12 years ago from near Tippecanoe.
Surviving are two sons, Herbert and Edward Anderegg, both of New Philadelphia; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her husband died in 1943, and she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Amy Tedrick, four sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Linn-Hert Co. Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and tonight. Dr. T. W. Hoernemann will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park.
