Funeral services for Arthur E. Angers, 59, of Wolverine will be held Saturday, December 31 at 10:30am at Schneider Funeral Home in Indian River. Deacon Gerald W. Becker of Twin Cities Baptist Church in Flint will officiate and interment will be in Silver Lake Cemetery in Wolverine. Mr. Angers died December 28 at his residence in Wolverine after a brief illness.
He was born June 24, 1918 in Michigan and had lived in Wolverine since 1967, moving there from Flint. On May 23, 1954, he married the former Geraldine Becker in Flint. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Arthur Angers Jr., of Glendale, Arizona, David Hall of Wolverine, and Daniel Angers of California; two daughters, Ardith Prescott of Mt. Morris, and Patricia Rogers of Burton; four stepsons, one stepdaughter, 15 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; three brothers, Virgil Angers of Flint, Edwin Angers of Mt. Morris, and Walter Kryzminski of Mt. Morris.
