NEW MARKET - Mrs. Bertha Ankers, 68, died at her home west of New Market Wednesday.
. Mrs Ankers was born June 30, 1895 at Broadway and was the daughter of the late Romanis and Susan Biller Tusing. She was a member of Smith Creek Baptist Church.
. Her husband, Harvey Lee Ankers whom she married in 1935, died in 1952.
. Surviving are a son, Harvey Lee Ankers, Jr. of Rt. 2, New Market; three brothers, Ervie Tusing of New Market, Charles Tusing of Broadway and Earl Tusing of Tiffin, Ohio, and one grandson.
. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. R.C. McClure. Burial will be in Mountain Grove Cemetery at Fulks Run.
. Nephews who will serve as pallbearers are Cecil, Lester, Berlin, Irvin and Clifford Tusing; Herman Mason and Edward Fulk.
. The body will be taken from the Dellinger Funeral Home to the church an hour before the funeral. Relatives will meet at the church at 1:45 p.m. Friday.
. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 7 to 8 p.m. today.
