VIRGINIA A. SUTCH

Virginia A. Sutch, 48, of 2432 N. Seventh St., died at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Union Hospital. She was a counselor for the Women's External Degree program at St. Mary-of-the Woods College. She was born Sept. 23, 1937, in Terre Haute to Dewey Annakin and Helen Woody Annakin Survivors include her husband, James E. Sutch; one daughter, Jennifer E. Sutch of Terre Haute; one son, Jeffery E. Ssutch of Terre Haute; one brother, Joseph Annakin of Evansville, one sister, Dorothy Johnson of Toledo, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church, its choir, taught adult Sunday School, served on the administrative board, Pastor Parish Committee and Council of Ministries, was a member of Woman's Department Club, Chi Omega, Chapter K PEO, past president state PEO, past president Gamma Gamma Chapter of Tri Kappa, Salvation Army board and Alumni Board at Indiana State University. Memorial services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday in Maple Avenue United Methodisst church, with the Rev. W. Robert Fair officiating. Burial is in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. today in Cross Funeral Home.
