Angelina Barbarotto Anthony, of 1216 Johnson Street, Redwood City, CA, 87, died on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Kaiser Hospital in Redwood City.


Born on November 8, 1921 in New York to George and Margaret Barbarotto.


She attended Walton High School and graduated Class of 1939. Ann worked for the Menlo Park School District, Wells Fargo Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank. She was involved with and attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Redwood City, CA. Was a member of the Fun after 50 Club, ARP 3137 and 746 National ARP.


Predeceased by her parents George and Margaret Barbarotto; her husband Jack Anthony (2001); her sister Connie Salfi (1997); and her brother Nicholas Paul Barbarotto (1989). She leaves behind her nieces Doreen Balmy of Redwood City, and Janet Langen of Stanhope, NJ. Nephews George Brown of New Kingston, NY, Gregory Brown of Burlingame, CA, and Nicholas Paul Barbarotto, Jr. of Cape Coral, FL. Ann also leaves behind her great-niece Zoe Balmy of Redwood City, and her great-nephews Ian Balmy of Redwood City, Scott Langen of Tampa, FL, and Keith Langen of Mount Royal, NJ.


A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Redwood City, CA.
Committal to the Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto, CA will follow the Mass.
