Amos was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband and father. He married the love of his life other than his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, October 1, 1938. He lived his entire life in Point, worked at the Point Store for years, then drove a school bus and was a substitute mail carrier. He served his Heavenly Father at Providence Baptist Church as a Sunday School Teacher and Treasurer for many, many years. He is survived by his wife, one daughter and two sons.
