Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2002, 11 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial in Bookhart Family Cemetery, Elloree, S.C. Pastor Richard Albert will officiate.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Adult Sunday School Class and Church Council member of Trinity Lutheran Church, as well as special friends.
Mr. Antley was the son of the late James Young, Sr., and the late Grace Irick. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where he served faithfully in many capacities.
Mr. Antley was a member of the S.C. Football Association in Charlotte, N.C. He managed and played in the Eastern Carolina Baseball League. Mr. Antley was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening. He was also a wood carver. He was a veteran, serving four years in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Antley retired from the S.C. Highway Department after serving many years.
He is survived by, his wife, Georgia Mae Moorer Antley of the home; one daughter, Cathy A. and Douglas Kibbey, Goose Creek, S.C.; three grandchildren, Marshall Kibbey, New Haven, Conn., Carrie and Matthew Kibbey, Goose Creek, S.C., and a number of nieces and nephews.
