Meda Mae Antonioni 81, passed away Jan. 16, 2010. Survived by her husband of 63-1⁄2 years, Arthur "Art" Antonioni; mother, Josephine Bergamo Marchiori of Walsenburg; children, Vernon (Judy) Antonioni of Muskogee, Okla., Kathy West, Byron (Judy) Antonioni and Stan "Snook" (Lynette Zinno) Antonioni, all of Pueblo; grandchildren, Gina (Danny) Hall of Muskogee, Brad (Brooke) Antonioni of Bakersfield, Calif., Jarred (Becky Hanratty) West, Brent West, Karla (Matt) Thielbar, Ryan (Melissa) Antonioni and Lexy Antonioni, all of Pueblo, Cali (Daniel) Milks and Jennifer Seabolt, both of Muskogee; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father, Ben Marchiori; sister, Rosalie O'Donoghue; and son-in-law, Steve West. Meda was born April 2, 1928, in Walsenburg, Colo. Her pride and joy were her husband, family and her dog, Vedo. She enjoyed cooking great meals, gardening, playing bridge, bowling, and cheering for the Rockies and the Broncos. She spent many years as a volunteer in the schools for her children and 26 years at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital. From her volunteering experiences, she had many friendships that spanned over 50 years. Recitation of the Rosary and eulogy followed by the funeral Mass, 10 a.m. today, Jan. 19, 2010, Shrine of St. Therese, 300 Goodnight Ave., with Msgr. Leonard Racki as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to the Pueblo City Schools Education Foundation or Shrine of St. Therese through the funeral home.
