A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at New Home Cemetery, west of Dover, with the Rev. Dr. Don Rogers officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home in Hennessey.
He was born Sept. 10, 1944, to Dewey and Dorthia Parham Combs in Wagoner. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Navy. He married Terri Frakes in Hennessey on Feb. 14, 1993.
Survivors include his father, Dewey Combs of Owasso; wife, Terri of the home; two daughters, Mendy Applegate and Wendy Schroedter and husband Chad, all of Yukon; two sisters, Sharon and Larissa, and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his mother and one son, Russell Applegate.
