MALAD. ID - Percilla Archibald Abbott, 92, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007 at the Oneida County Care Center due to age.

She was born March 11, 1915 in East Portage, UT to Albert Stewart and Nancy Idelia Tims Archibald. She married Jacob Clifford Abbott in Logan LDS Temple August 29, 1935. He died February 21,1953.

Percilla was an avid genealogist and loved gardening. She was an excellent seamstress, sewing most of her children's clothing. She ran the farm for eight years after her husband's death. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Primary Secretary and teacher and many years as a Relief Society Secretary. Surviving are her children: Clifford Percy. (Cherot) Abbot, Flower, TX; Percilla Marie (Dennis) Payne, Howell, UT; Kenneth Roger (Cindy) Abbott, Salmon, ID; and Gary Walter (Nancy) Abbott, Columbia, SC.

She is preceded in death by her husband, son, John Henry Abbott and grandson, Rocky Dennis Payne.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 8, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home. 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Family and friends may call from 9-10:40 a.m. Interment at Brigham City Cemetery.
