"ARCHIBALD.- In London on 11th September, 1949, ISABEL ARMSTRONG ARCHIBALD, wife of the late Robert Archibald and second daughter of the late Hugh Cameron, R.S.A., Edinburgh."

Cameron (44), wife, married, born Lanarkshire, Glasgow; Grettie (sic) T. Cameron (12), Scholar, daughter, born Ayrshire, Ayr; Isabel A. Cameron (11), Scholar, daughter, born Dunbartonshire, Helensburgh; Hugh A. Cameron (10), Scholar, son, born England; Jessie K. Cameron (9), Scholar, daughter, born England; two female house servants."

The Glasgow Herald, Tuesday, October 19th., 1915. Marriage notice:-
"ARCHIBALD-CAMERON.- At the Congregational Church, Warminster, on Saturday, 16th October, by the Rev. George Uppington, Robert Archibald, eldest son of R. Bruce Archibald, Roxburgh, Tobago, to Isabel Armstrong, second daughter of Hugh Cameron, R.S.A., 45 George Square, Edinburgh."

Pte. Robert Archibald, serving at that time with the 16th Bat. Royal Scots. Address at marriage:- Beach View, Anstruther, Fifeshire.
