At the age of 16, Kitty began her employment with the School District of Philadelphia where she rose to the rank of secretary to the Superintendent of Schools. She worked for the School District for over 50 years.
A resident of Park Towne Place for 29 years, Kitty was known by many people in Center City Philadelphia. Always a friendly presence and always a friendly voice on the telephone, Kitty endeared herself to public officials, as well as to neighbors, co-workers, friends and family.
Kitty is survived by many nieces and nephews. Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetary in Yeadon. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Old First Reformed Church of Christ, or to the Convent of Divine Love, 2112 Green St., Philadelphia, PA.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on April 14th 1994, at the Old First Reformed United Church of Christ, 4th and Race Sts. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetary, Baltimore Avenue and Church Road, Fernwood, Delaware County.
