Donna J. Aring, 71, a resident of Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at the center.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation is an hour prior to the service. Private inurnment will be at a later date at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.
Donna Davis was born Nov. 13, 1941 in Moline, a daughter of Barney and Ferne Madsen Davis.
She had worked for the Miller Container Corp. and later at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Donna loved and raised dogs. She also enjoyed nature, birds and especially her nieces and nephew.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Ron Sheets, East Moline; nieces, Rhonda (Dan) Zonnevylle, Illinois City, and Diane (Shane) Lyon, East Moline; great-nephew, Tyler Zonnevylle; and great-nieces, Kaitlyn Zonnevylle, and Jasmine and Ashley Lyon. She was preceded in death by her parents.
