Esther Arnone Epperley, 81, of Tallahassee, peacefully went home to be with Jesus on July 25, 2016.
A daughter of the late Dominic and Ann LaPlaca Arnone, she was born September 22, 1934, in Jamestown, New York. A retired educator, she had many hobbies, including painting in oils, playing the organ and singing, crocheting blankets for the Women's Pregnancy Center and other organizations, bird watching, especially her hummingbirds, and she also enjoyed flowers. She was a devout Christian, who believed that all should hear the Gospel of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ross Epperley; children, Steve Epperley, and Karisa Epperley; grandchildren, Jonathan Epperley, Alicia Epperley, and Jamie Sell; sister, Marcia (Kenneth) Stoner, and brother, Charles (Lily) Arnone.
The funeral service is at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Thomasville Road Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member of the church and of Jim Gilpin's Bible Study Class. The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral in the fellowship hall. A private family interment will be held at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
