On June 3, 1851 as Annie Earp, she married William H. Armstrong at the 10th Presbyterian Church at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
They were the parents of five children.

Mrs. Annie Earp Armstrong, wife of ex-Congressman William H. Armstrong of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, died about 1 o'clock Tuesday. Deceased will be interred at Oak Hill Cemetery, Washington, D.C., Friday morning at 2 o'clock.
