Quincy - Mrs Alice Clara (Pearce) Armstrong, 62, of 74 Walnut Street, North Quincy, died at home yesterday, after a long illness. Born in Dorchester, she lived in Quincy for 40 years. Mrs. Armstrong was secretary and past president of the Quincy Gold Star Mothers. She also was past Noble Grand of the Reliance Rebekah Lodge of North Quincy. She is survived by her husband, James H Armstrong Sr., and a son, James H Armstrong Jr., both of Quincy, and a brother, Wellesley Pearce of Lynn. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Delaware Brothers Funeral Home, 576 Hancock St. Burial will be Mount Wollaston Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home are tonight from 7 to 9, and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
